Snowfall in Auli and Chopta of Uttarakhand has thrilled the tourists. More than two thousand tourists have arrived in Auli and around four thousand tourists have arrived in Chopta. Tourists are trekking in snow from Auli to Gaurson. The snow in Auli has proved to be a boon for the tourism business. Badrinath Highway is still closed after snowfall. At the same time, after one to two feet snowfall in Chopta of Rudraprayag, tourists are reaching here in large numbers. Due to this, huge crowd of tourists has started gathering here.

Chardham Opening Dates 2024

Yamunotri, Kedarnath, and Gangotri Dham will be open for devotees on 10 May and Shri Badrinath Dham’s Kapat will be open on 12 May. Devotees have requested to register for Yatra on the Uttarakhand tourism website. It is free of cost. You can also book Chardham Hotel, Taxi, and Chardham Package from any reputed tour & travel company.

Note: Tungnath and Madmaheswar temple will open on 20 and 10 May. Both temples are the part of Panch Kedar Yatra in Uttarakhand. Many people do the Panch Kedar Yatra and many devotees do the Panch Badri & Panch Pryag tours.

Off-Line Registration for Chardham Yatra 2024

The offline registration for Chardham Yatra in Uttarakhand will start soon. The expected date is 5 May. People who have still not registered online for May month can do them offline, and soon will be started. In online mode registrations are closed for May month, you can do it for June, and September & October month.

Helicopter Yatra To Shri Kedarnath Dham

Information on the Kedarnath Helicopter was declared on the official website of Heli Yatra IRCTC. Heli Tickets booking will be for the Journey Period, which is given below.

10th May, 2024 – 20th June, 2024.

15th Sept, 2024 – 31st Oct, 2024.

For the journey period 21st June – 14th Sept, 2024 booking opening date will be informed later.

Divya Shila is a stone located near Suryakund in Yamunotri. Devotees worship here before going to Yamunotri Temple. Suryakund’s water is the hottest spring water in Garhwal region, Uttarakhand. Generally, devotees boil rice & potatoes in this Kund. They also carry boiled rice as Parshada at Home. Many people have faith in it. They visit all possible nearest sites in Yamunotri. Yamunotri Dham Yatra 2024

Yamunotri Dham is one of the sacred abodes in the Chardham Yatra, Uttarakhand. It is the first Dham where devotees visit. Yamunotri temple’s Kapat opens on Akshaya Tritya. This year, it is on 10 May (Friday). On the opening of the doors of Yamunotri & Gangotri temple, Chardham Yatra will start in May month. Barkot to Yamunotri is approx 45 km and Barkot is 190 km from Haridwar, Uttarakhand. Haridwar is the first stop during the Chardham Yatra from Delhi and the second stop to stay in Barkot. Chota Chardham Yatra

Chota Chardham Yatra refers to Gangotri, Yamunotri, Badrinath, and Kedarnath temple tours. Many people visit only Ek Dham or Do Dham tour in Uttarakhand. In Do Dham, you can select two temples out of them. Yamunotri and Gangotri or Badrinath and Kedarnath yatra tour packages.

Lakhamandal is connected to the Mahabharat Epic. It is located about 15 km before reaching Barkot. According to Mahabharat, the Kauravas had built Lakshyagraha to burn the Pandavas. Kauravas wanted to kill the Pandavas in the Lakshyagrha. But the conspiracy of them had failed. That structure now is known as Lakha Mandal. Pandavas had created a secret tunnel inside, and using it they were all safely outside it. Later, they had to stay at Chakrnagari for up to 1 month. Nowadays It is known as Chakrata. Lakhamandal is a Shiva temple situated in the Jaunsar-Bawar in the Dehradun area, Uttarakhand.

How to reach Lakhamandal

Lakha Mandal is on Mussoorie-Yamunotri road. It is 1372 meters high from the sea level. It is about 60 km from Chakrata, 75 km from Mussoorie, and 128 km from Dehradun. People who are coming to the Mussoorie tour also go for Lakha Mandal. You can also hire a taxi from Dehradun to reach there. Many Devotees of Chardham Yatra also include this place in their travel plans.
