Divya Shila – Destination in Yamunotri Dham

Divya Shila is a stone located near Suryakund in Yamunotri. Devotees worship here before going to Yamunotri Temple. Suryakund’s water is the hottest spring water in Garhwal region, Uttarakhand. Generally, devotees boil rice & potatoes in this Kund. They also carry boiled rice as Parshada at Home. Many people have faith in it. They visit all possible nearest sites in Yamunotri. After Divya Shila Darshan, devotees visit Yamunotri Dham.

Yamunotri Dham Yatra 2024

Yamunotri Dham is one of the sacred abodes in the Chardham Yatra, Uttarakhand. It is the first Dham where devotees visit. Yamunotri temple’s Kapat opens on Akshaya Tritya. This year, it is on 10 May (Friday). On the opening of the doors of Yamunotri & Gangotri temple, Chardham Yatra will start in May month. Barkot to Yamunotri is approx 45 km and Barkot is 190 km from Haridwar, Uttarakhand. Haridwar is the first stop during the Chardham Yatra from Delhi and the second stop to stay in Barkot. Chota Chardham Yatra

Chota Chardham Yatra refers to Gangotri, Yamunotri, Badrinath, and Kedarnath temple tours. Many people visit only Ek Dham or Do Dham tour in Uttarakhand. In Do Dham, you can select two temples out of them. Yamunotri and Gangotri or Badrinath and Kedarnath yatra tour packages.
